1、 Pigment particles
If the pigment or bulk pigment particles are not finely crushed, have poor dispersibility, and have a lot of fillers, PTFE coatings may experience precipitation during transportation and storage, such as in pigment and filler tanks., And it still has no effect after shaking, and the spray effect of PTFE will be greatly reduced.
2、 Paint composition
Teflon spray coating mainly includes oils, processed oils, natural resins, cellulose derivatives, and some non-volatile reactive diluents. This ingredient must be correct, otherwise the quality is not up to standard. For example, polytetrafluoroethylene spraying is used to prevent cracking of car paint surfaces.
This is a continuously penetrating car paint, but small cracks are only discovered when the entire paint layer "breaks". However, the cracks start too late and it is difficult to detect, wax, or polish the stripes on the car body with the naked eye. These cracks are caused by the presence of car wax. So it is possible to use polytetrafluoroethylene spray paint in the early stage, but it is necessary to choose high-quality polytetrafluoroethylene spray paint, because if there are quality problems, the cracking of the car paint surface will be more serious. This skin disease can only be cured by repainting.
3、 Production time
If the production time is early, it must have been stored for a long time. If stored for a long time, there is a tendency for reactions or adsorption between pigments and paint substrates, resulting in precipitation.
During storage, the spraying of polytetrafluoroethylene will lose its factory consistency, the coating will become thicker, and it may even become unusable! The thickening of the paint is mainly due to the reaction between the pigment and the paint base, mainly because the organic acids in the primer react with the paint base to form metal soaps.
